Overview
Project memory keeps track of useful context from your work in a project, like key facts, decisions, and preferences from your chats. When you return to a project and start a new chat, Saga already knows where you left off, so you don’t have to explain the background again. Saga saves memories automatically as you chat inside a project. You can also add, edit, and remove memories yourself at any time. How memories are created
As you chat in a project, Saga picks up information worth remembering and saves it as a memory. When this happens, a Memory Updated indicator appears above the answer. Hover over it to see what was remembered, and select Manage to open the full list. You can also add memories manually. This is useful for context Saga can’t infer on its own, like a client’s preferred contract terms or an internal deadline.Viewing project memories
- Open the project.
- Select the ⋯ menu at the top of the project page, then select Project Memories.
Adding a memory
- Open Project Memories from the project menu.
- Select Add memory.
- Type the memory content.
- Optionally, select Add Tag to tag the memory. Tags help you filter memories later.
- Select Save.
Editing or deleting a memory
- Open Project Memories and find the memory. Use search or tag filters if the list is long.
- Select the pencil icon to edit its content or tags, or the trash icon to delete it.
Who can manage memories
Everyone with access to a project can view its memories. Adding, editing, and deleting memories requires edit access: project owners, co-owners, and members with edit permission.Tips
- Review memories when starting a long-running matter. A quick cleanup keeps Saga’s context accurate as the work evolves.
- Delete memories that are outdated or wrong. Stale context leads to stale answers.
- Use tags to group memories by topic, for example by counterparty, contract, or workstream.
